IRVING WELCOMES OUR LIBRARIAN, Ms. Mcardle!

LIBRARY RESOURCES

I hope everyone is staying well, healthy, and inside.

This is a link to the LAPL's electronic library card. Students you can sign up. You have access to databases, audio books, e-books, and a lot of other sources. I'm really familiar with the resources, so please contact me if you have questions!

Here's the link to the teenscape page.

See you soon!

"I am excited we have 7 of the 15 book titles already up in the library for this year's reading decathlon. Everyone is welcome to challenge themselves to read 15 books in the next 9 months and then compete against ten other district middle schools in a jeopardy-style competition next May to bring that trophy home to Irving!

Our school placed second last year and the BiblioBears did a great job getting through the books.

The main goal is we have fun reading new books and make friends whilst reading the books. Come and see me in the library to learn more about this wonderful reading challenge that promotes reading books from different genres and diverse authors. I will provide the books and you do the reading! - Ms. Mcardle
