We are proud to announce the winners of the

LACER Word Wizard Tournament 2019.

 Word Wizard is a competition amongst 3 other schools,

where students have to learn to define and spell

60 college level/SAT words.

Irving LACER had a team of 12 students that participated.

The L.A.C.E.R. Afterschool Programs mission is to provide underserved public middle and high school students with expanded learning and opportunities after school which includes free classes in three key areas; academics, athletics and the arts, in a safe and caring environment. LACER students develop new skills, make new friends and graduate.



El misión del Programa L.A.C.E.R. después de la escuela, es proporcionar servicios públicos para estudiantes de secundaria y preparatoria con aprendizaje extendido y oportunidades para estudiantes en el programa después de la escuela, incluyen clases gratuitas enfocadas en tres niveles; académicos, atlético, y artístico en un ambiente seguro.  L.A.C.E.R. ayuda a los estudiantes a desarrollar nuevas habilidades, hacer nuevos amigos y más importante, se gradúan en el proceso.

Enrollment Forms



Students must be enrolled at the school where the program is located. Parents or guardians can register their student by completing a Student Registration Form (Offered first come, first served, limited space available).

Para tener derecho de ser matriculados los estudiantes deben de asistir la escuela donde el programa de L.A.C.ER. es situado.  Cada año, los padres o los guardianes pueden registrarse sin costo alguno por medio de llenar una matriculación estudiantil.



Students are strongly encouraged to attend every day and stay until 6:00pm in order to get the most of what the program has to offer. Daily attendance is required to participate in all activities.

Los estudiantes son favorecidos en asistir cada día hasta las 6:00p para aprovechar la mayor parte de lo que el programa tiene que ofrecer.  La asistencia diaria es requerida. 



Registered students must sign in and out of the program daily. In order to participate, all L.A.C.E.R. youth must be picked up by the close of program (6:00pm) and must have parental permission to leave early.

Los estudiantes registrados deben inscribir las horas de participación diariamente en el programa.  Los estudiantes son requeridos a tomar una participación active en cada clase que ellos se inscriben.  Toda la juventud de L.A.C.E.R. debe ser recogida al fin del programa (6pm) o debe tener permiso paternal par andar a si mismo a la casa.  L.A.C.E.R. no es responsable por estudiantes después de las 6:00pm.
