Dancing With Ms. Dunn, by Nashaly Reyes, 8th Grade

This school year went by really quickly for me honestly and I think part of the reason was because of how much fun I was having during dance. Every day that was periods 1-4 I would always find myself looking forward to 4th period because I would have dance. Then to add onto that I do dance team after school so practice after school was also something to look forward to. I really enjoy dancing. It plays a huge role in my daily life especially since I have been doing it since 3rd grade. Not only that, going to competition is really fun. Then every year going to Las Vegas and spending a few days there with my friends means everything because we are able to make so many memories that we can look back to in the future. Also because Ms. Dunn herself is not only an amazing dance teacher but she’s our friend. She goes out of her way to build a friendship with each and every one of her dancers. She cares about us so much as if we were her own children and personally I enjoy being around her in general. She always tries to be positive about everything and if one of us needs help or is going through something she always does her best to make us feel better. Honestly just being around Ms.Dunn makes my day a lot better. She really is like a second mother to all of us and it makes us all feel safe and its really been a great year for me. When I begin high school I know I’m going to miss dancing with Ms.Dunn
